Thanks to Yvonne Price, who kindly provided a copy of a marriage certificate, I was able to confirm that on Mar 2, 1862 Charlotte Bushell Taylor married George Martin at Holy Cross Church, Ramsbury. The bride was 21 years of age and the groom was 23. The groom’s father was listed as Mark Martin and the bride’s father was James Taylor, both fathers were labourers by occupation. The witnesses were James Dopson (aka Dobson, first cousin of the bride) and Sarah Withers.
