Jean Althea was born the daughter of Martha Titterington and George Elliott on 31st May 1938 in Liverpool. In 1939 she was adopted by Charles and Ethel Green in Lincoln. They had no other children.
Jean completed her nursing training in Lincoln (where she met Gordon Charles Pamment). They married in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire in 1960.
She died in Tunisia in 2018.
