William Ainsworth has been identified as the father of my g.g.g.grandmother, Sarah Ainsworth. William Ainsworth had a shop in Chipping Ongar, Essex. His will specifically mentions daughter, Sarah, wife of Samual Pamment, baker. The will also mentions his wife, Amy, who we believe is Amy Fowler, his second wife (married Chipping Ongar, December 26, 1791). William’s first wife (and my g.g.g.g.grandmother) was Mary who died in July 1789. Thanks to cousin Carol for finding the will and making this breakthrough to another generation!
