Witnesses at the marriage were Henry Lynn and Sidney Richard Baker. Lilly was a comedienne. Joseph’s occupation was listed as a comedian on their marriage certificate. In the 1911 Census they are living at 37 Venn Street, Clapham and have a son, Charles Joseph Langton, born 1909 in Stoke Newington. Joseph’s occupation in the 1911 Census is listed as long author and composer. They had another son, Edward P.R. Langton in 1913.
